Fuelling The Passion for Ski Mountaineering and Telemark Skiing
Now in our fifth season Mountain Spirit has grown from strength to Strength, picking up awards, organising events, and just doing some fun stuff in the Back Country, our passion for the great Outdoors has never dwindled.
Looking forward to another Season, and anticipating what the Snow gods will give us fills the team hear at Mountain Spirit with excitement. Our Ski Mountaineering range will be amongst the largest in the UK ranging brands such as Movement, Dynastar, Rossignol, Fischer on the ski front, and G3, 7TM, Naxo, and Fritschi covering us on the Binding set up.
Boot manufactures Scarpa, Garmont, and Crispi all have an impressive range this season have a look at the new Spirit 3, and Spirit 4, from Scarpa, and as ever Garmont and it's work horse the G-Ride. Crispi have also lead the way on the new NTN set up as have Scarpa so it's going to be a battle of the brands this season.
As ever we at Mountain Spirit want to make sure that you the client have the very best of hardware and clothing to ensure you have the best of experiences whilst touring in the Back Country.
We feel this season we have got it bang on when it comes to mixing function with fashion, and have introduced new brands and expanded on others. Next time you visit the shop you will see that we have gone for a partial re-fit with our leading brands Icebreaker Touch Point shop fit with a massive range of Icebreaker wool clothing, ( probably the largest in the North), and the Marmot Brand proud Sponsors of Glenmore Lodge Our National Outdoor Training Centre.
New boys on the block are a small but well formed brand called Klattermussen from far northern Sweden, where they are manufacturing alternative fabrics to Gore Tex, and designs and tailoring many of the bigger brands wish they could emulate. So we don't get too serious we will also be stocking a Boston brand called Life Is Good, you may have seen the T-Shirt brand out and about this summer but this winter they have expanded the brand further and we feel it will sit well with the attitude of the Ski Tourer.
